Pivotal Law Group Adds New Associate Attorney Lisa Benedetti!

Pivotal Law Group is proud to announce the addition of Lisa Benedetti, a new associate attorney, to the firm!
Lisa was born and raised locally in Puyallup, and enjoys visiting the Fair when she has the chance. After high school, she earned her B.A. in Health and Societies from the University of Pennsylvania.
Before attending law school at the University of Washington, Lisa worked for three years as a paralegal, where she discovered her passion for the law and her desire to become a lawyer. While earning her J.D., Lisa demonstrated a breadth of excellence by being accepted into the Washington Law Review (for her writing and academic achievement) and Moot Court Honor Board (for her litigation skills). Lisa graduated from law school with honors.
Since then, Lisa has devoted her law practice to helping the injured and less fortunate. Before joining Pivotal Law Group, she worked as an attorney at two plaintiff-side practices specializing in personal injury and disability. Lisa’s steadfast pursuit of her clients’ cases at all stages of litigation has often led to early and favorable outcomes.
In addition to her trial work, Lisa has also distinguished herself at the appellate level. She spent one year as a clerk for the Honorable Philip S. Carchman, a presiding New Jersey appellate judge, where she helped ensure people received just and fair review of their cases. Later, in her law practice, she briefed an appeal before the Ninth Circuit that got the trial court’s decision reversed in her client’s favor and set precedent forbidding an ERISA Plan Administrator from demanding that its members behave in a way not required by the Plan’s express terms.
When not working, Lisa enjoys running, working out, playing on the Washington State Association for Justice softball team, and having “game nights” with friends.
Lisa is excited about her move to Pivotal Law Group, which occurred as of October 1, 2015, and looks forward to continuing to fight for her clients while expanding that work to include family law, business law, and other areas.
